Math Problem Solving Ability Contest
In order to improve the professional skills and comprehensive literacy of teachers, as well as enhance math teachers’ problem-solving and presentation ability, on the afternoon of 23rd May, the mathematics teaching and research group of the Primary School Division held a ‘problem solving ability competition’ for young teachers. To be concrete, the questions in this competition are flexible and varied. During the competition, the teachers meticulously examined the questions, attentively answered them, and showcased a high level of professionalism. Also, after answering the questions, the teachers randomly selected the questions to explain with each participating teacher interpreting the math problem with full passion.
To summarize, this activity increased the cohesion of the math team, thus creating a strong learning atmosphere, and promoting the professional development of young teachers, which laid a solid foundation for further reinforcing the teaching quality of mathematics in our school. Furthermore, it’s believed that with joint efforts of all teachers, we will go further and be more stable on the road of mathematics teaching and research.
